Not just jewelry anymore

I recently posted some new items to my Etsy store at littlelambgal.etsy.com. I am thrilled how these two little porcelain perfume bottles turned out. I will definately be making more of these very soon. Next batch I will be pouring them in colored porcelain (such as pink and lavender) before painting them.

Also, remember those little porcelain portrait masterpieces I was inspired by? My "Lady in the Red Hat Pendant" is my own take on that fabulous style. I almost didn't post this item to my shop because I wanted to keep it to myself. Hurry up and buy it before I change my mind!

Applelicious buttons in progress

I got started on those delicious apple buttons I was telling you about. Aren't they just adorable? You can't tell by the picture as they haven't been fired yet, but these have been poured in red porcelain. Once finished, they will be a deep crimson red. I've painted the leaves and stems on each and they are being fired in my kiln right now. Picture these with two little button holes on each and adorned on your favorite sweater. Mmmm!

Inspiring designs

I'm absolutely in love with this jewelry by sofiamasri that I found on etsy.com. It really makes me want to create my own plaster molds so that I can design something similar and sleek and then make tons and tons of these beautiful little works of art! I am especially in love with the little tree earrings. Those dangling leaves at the bottom are to die for. I guess I need to pick up some plaster supplies so I can get started on some of my own molds ASAP.

mini masterpieces

I found a website with these gorgeous porcelain portrait broaches. It totally inspired me to paint a few portraits of my own on porcelain pendants. They are in the kiln right now and soon I will be posting the finished product. Though they won't be as intricate and detailed as my inspiration, they will still be fabulous! (I want to keep them simple so I can sell them at affordable prices in my esty shop at littlelambgal.etsy.com.)

Applelicious

Today I picked up some really cute plaster apple molds. My plan is to make these into adorable apple-shaped buttons to post on my etsy store at littlelambgal.etsy.com. I can't wait to pour the crimson red colored porcelain into these molds and make these adorable buttons. I may also try and make a few apple pendants. We'll see how they turn out.

Oh, I also put about 45 more porcelain pendants in the kiln today. I will post to my etsy store as soon as possible. Stay tuned!
